Hope everyone is enjoying this summer weather. Little humid but at least there is no shovelling and polar vortex so that is a real bonus. I for one am quite happy.
I have 10 Sumi-e works at the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville Municipal Offices in the lobby. If your in the area during business hours stop by and see the show.
Next week Take Three - new work by Allison Bullock, Diana Bullock and June Probert at the beautiful McKay Centre in historic Unionville. Hope to see you!

CNE
The CNE begins today ..... the fair that signals the end of summer for Southern Ontario; the new food item this year, deep fried bacon and mars bar. Thanks but no thanks, yuck. Of course there is over a month of summer left so plenty of time to enjoy my favourite season.
And next week I am very pleased to be at the McKay Centre in Unionville On with my daughter Allison Bullock and our friend June Probert. We will have 60 paintings on display. Please stop by and say hello! Your invited.

Resting
Show at the McKay is now over. Thanks to everyone who came by. It was fun and we are definitely thinking about a repeat.
Have stored all my paintings [not an easy feat], resting for a few days then on to new works!
And by the way it is hot enough out for me [a heat wave in the little town of Stouffville] and yes I do like it!

Fred Varley’s artistic legacy in Markham continues at the McKay Art Centre. The historic Kathleen McKay/Salem Eckhardt house has been recently restored to its original splendour. The house dates to the 1840's and was the home of Frederick Horsman Varley during the last 12 years of his life. In his studio on the lower level of the house, Varley created various portraits and landscapes inspired by the surrounding area.
Hope to see you!
